Join Molded Dimensions Group (Port Washington, WI), a global partner for custom rubber, urethane, and plastic components serving marine, medical, automotive, trucking, and mining sectors.

Role focus

  • PPAP/ISIR Leadership + Plan, compile, and own PPAP submissions (domestic and international) with Engineering PM and Quality Technicians. + Develop and validate APQP elements: PSW, PFMEA, Control Plan, Material Certifications, Dimensional results, and Gage R&R per customer requirements. + Interpret GD&T; select and oversee inspection methods from durometer gauges through vision systems; coordinate any additional testing. + Interface with customers; communicate inspection outcomes, approvals, and feedback rapidly. + Consult with Project Manager, Engineering, and Quality Manager on nonconformances.
  • QMS and Audit Ownership + Serve as ISO Coordinator: schedule and execute internal audits; lead third‑party registrar audits. + Administer corrective actions and preventive measures; implement ISO 9001:2015 continuous improvement initiatives. + Develop and deliver internal auditor training; build audit competency across the organization.
  • People and Lab Leadership + Oversee Quality Assurance Technicians and the interpretation of collected data. + Own two Quality Lab Vision Systems: lead operator responsibilities, capability maintenance, and mentoring.
  • Problem Solving and Improvement + Lead/assist cross‑functional root cause analysis and corrective action. + Manage SPC initiatives per customer needs; convert trends to process controls. + Establish incoming (insert) and in‑process inspection/test methods. + Support RGAs, customer complaints, and corrective actions until closure.
  • Cross‑Functional Engagement + Represent QA in New Products and New Product Review meetings. + Lead or support continuous improvement projects across functions. + Train personnel on customer expectations, inspection techniques, gage use, and blueprint reading. + Audit operator compliance with procedures and work instructions; assist with customer audits. + Provide backup for the Quality Manager and broader QA team; perform related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • BS in Engineering/technical field with 3\+ years in QA; or Associate in Quality with 7\+ years manufacturing QA.
  • Proficient in ISO 9001:2015, internal audits, and registrar audits.
  • Experienced with PPAP, SPC, control plans, Gage R&R, and standard manufacturing quality tools.
  • Skilled in blueprint reading (GD&T), inspection method selection, and operation of measurement equipment including vision systems.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication; advanced Microsoft Excel; meticulous attention to detail.
  • Preferred: Green/Black Belt; supervisory experience.
