Role Overview
Provide technical leadership for North American plastic bumper and instrument panel tooling by directing mold design, process development, and tooling maturation. Develop optimized 3D models and ensure stable machine process windows for high-quality production.
Key Responsibilities
Lead mold and tooling design, review external supplier designs, conduct tooling trials, collaborate to resolve mold issues, translate customer requirements into molds, perform simulations, investigate improvements, and mentor team members.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree in relevant engineering fields or equivalent experience, 2-8 years of related experience, proficiency with CAD software, mechanical and manufacturing knowledge. Sponsorship for employment visas is not available.
Working Conditions
Mix of office and manufacturing environments; standing, lifting, PPE use, occasional travel (including international), and weekend support are required.
