Role details
Join MAPEI Corporation, a global leader in the manufacturing of construction chemicals and building materials, including adhesives, sealants, and specialty products used in flooring, tile, and concrete restoration. MAPEI is seeking a Project Engineer to support the planning, design, installation, and startup new or modified plant equipment and facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Project Manager to define the project scope, budget preparation, process planning, permitting, execution, and control of assigned projects
- Execute assigned projects on-time, within budget, and within specification. Monitor, control, and report on all projects as directed
- Monitor and control CAD design and design modifications
- Support the continuous improvement efforts in the Operations group
- Stay updated on industry advancements, integrating new technologies where applicable.
- Ensure regulatory and safety compliance, adhering to company policies and industry standards.
- Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, safety rules and instructions.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) from a four-year College or University in Civil, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or equivalent
- Three years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Expertise on batch liquid match mixing installations is a plus.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification, strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint within a Windows environment, including MSProject.
- Knowledge of Autocad drafting is required
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to travel required.
