You dial in processing parameters, verify alignment, and run first-article checks to ensure parts meet spec. When a machine throws a curveball, you jump into diagnostics, correct the issue, and keep output moving. Throughout the day, you collaborate with engineering and production to refine setups, shorten cycles, and protect quality.

What you’ll tackle
- Lead installation, setup, and calibration of injection molding equipment with exacting alignment to production specifications
- Partner with engineering and production to tune machines for specialized runs and make data-driven adjustments
- Execute advanced troubleshooting and diagnostics to resolve complex equipment issues and maximize efficiency
- Perform rigorous tests and inspections to detect issues early and prevent line interruptions
- Implement corrective actions and drive preventive maintenance to boost reliability, cut downtime, and extend equipment life
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering specs, and shop orders to determine setup approach, methods, and sequencing
- Collaborate cross-functionally to continuously improve setups and overall operational performance
- Operate and coordinate maintenance of powered industrial equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) to support setups and material flow
- Champion safe equipment operation and adherence to all safety protocols
- Perform all other duties as assigned
About you
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent
- Experience: 3\+ years in a manufacturing or industrial environment with emphasis on equipment setup and basic maintenance; prior exposure to plastic injection molding machines, mold changeovers, processing adjustments, and defect troubleshooting is strongly preferred
- Certifications/Licenses: Powered Industrial Equipment certification preferred
