As a Senior Microfabrication Engineer , you’ll run and refine the cleanroom fabrication of next-generation microwave quantum devices, working at the cutting edge of quantum hardware . No prior experience in quantum physics is required.
- Fabricate integrated microelectronic circuits for microwave signal conditioning, and develop, optimize, and document the associated thin-film and deposition processes in the cleanroom
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align processes with specifications and resolve recurring issues
- Support the transition of new process technologies from R&D to production and scaling
- Coordinate preventive maintenance and execute qualification protocols for special processes
- Improve key performance metrics such as yield, throughput, and cycle time
- MSc, or PhD Degree in materials science, nanoscience, physics, chemistry, or a related field, plus relevant experience
- Expertise in microelectronics or thin-film fabrication (lithography, etch, deposition, process integration)
- Comfortable using statistics to analyze test results
- Collaborative, organized, and adaptable, with a problem-solving mindset
- Metallization and process integration across a full fabrication flow
- Microfabrication tool maintenance
