Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and bilingual Engineer to join our innovative manufacturing team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to leverage your technical expertise and language skills to drive process improvements, troubleshoot complex systems, and collaborate across diverse teams. As a key contributor, you will play a vital role in enhancing manufacturing efficiency, ensuring quality standards, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Your bilingual proficiency will facilitate seamless communication with international teams, suppliers, and clients, fostering a collaborative and productive work atmosphere.

Duties

  • Develop, review, and update project schedules to ensure timely completion of engineering initiatives and manufacturing processes.
  • Conduct root cause analysis on production issues to identify underlying problems and implement effective corrective actions.
  • Utilize AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, and other CAD software to design and modify schematics, tooling, fixtures, and assembly layouts.
  • Program and troubleshoot robotics, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), CNC machines, CAM systems, and vision inspection systems to optimize automation workflows.
  • Support plastics injection molding processes by analyzing tooling designs, process parameters, and performing process engineering tasks for quality enhancement.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with manufacturing, quality assurance, maintenance, and engineering teams to implement lean manufacturing practices and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Apply industrial automation techniques and industrial engineering principles to improve manufacturing efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Perform engineering data analysis to monitor process performance metrics and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Manage projects related to process improvement initiatives, ensuring adherence to ISO 9001 standards and other quality management systems.
  • Provide technical leadership in welding, fabrication, tooling design, mechanical assembly, and factory equipment maintenance.

Skills

  • Proficiency in project scheduling tools and techniques for managing multiple engineering projects simultaneously.
  • Must be able to read, speak and write in Korean/English Language.
  • Strong root cause analysis skills with experience applying Six Sigma tools such as DMAIC (Define-Measure-Analyze-Improve-Control).
  • Expertise in CAD software including AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, and schematic creation for industrial applications.
  • Hands-on experience programming robotics (robot programming), PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), CNC machines (CNC programming), CAM systems (CAM programming), and vision inspection systems.
  • Knowledge of plastics injection molding processes along with tooling design and fabrication capabilities.
  • Familiarity with industrial equipment maintenance, welding techniques, fabrication processes, tooling design, and mechanical assembly.
  • Background in manufacturing engineering with experience in lean management principles for process optimization.
  • Strong analytical skills in engineering data analysis for process monitoring and quality control purposes.
  • Demonstrated leadership in team environments with cross-functional collaboration skills across manufacturing disciplines.
  • Understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) standards for schematic accuracy.
  • Experience practicing industrial automation concepts within manufacturing facilities or factories.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 standards related to quality management systems in manufacturing environments.
