Kingfa is looking for a full time Quality & Lab Engineer
Summary:
Quality Engineer ensures that all products adhere to established quality standards while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and customer satisfaction. This role is responsible for overseeing quality assurance processes across all production stages—from raw material to finished goods—to drive operational excellence and efficiency.
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
Quality Control & Inspection
Perform quality control inspections throughout the manufacturing process to identify and
address deviations promptly.
Verify all sign-off master samples used for visual control.
Deal with production line quality issues and investigate both internal and external quality
concerns.
Laboratory & Testing Management
Identify testing methods and samples to provide statistical information for quality improvement.
Manage and maintain laboratory equipment, including oversight of annual calibrations.
Optimize laboratory testing procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
conduct measurement system analysis (MSA / Gauge R&R) to ensure reliability of inspection method
Quality Systems & Auditing
Develop, implement, and monitor Quality Management Systems aligned with IATF 16949 and other relevant standards.
Conduct comprehensive quality audits to evaluate compliance with internal procedures and external requirements.
Monitor supplier performance and support customer audits.
Process Improvement & Analysis
Lead root cause analysis and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) for internal and external issues.
Monitor the effectiveness of corrective actions over time.
Drive process improvement and optimization activities across the facility.
New Product Development Support
Participate in Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) activities.
Prepare and submit Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) packages according to customer requirements for new product launches.
Documentation & Training
Develop and maintain documentation related to quality control procedures, including standard operating procedures and work instructions
Ensure staff are trained on quality control procedures and standards.
Substitute Lab Technician when needed.
Perform other duties as assigned by management
JOB SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Strong knowledge of quality tools:
8 D, 5 Why, Fishbone (Ishikawa)
FMEA, Control Plan, SPC
Familiar with IATF 16949 quality systems
Experience with APQP and PPAP processes
Understanding of MSA (Gauge R&R) and measurement systems
Knowledge of laboratory testing methods (mechanical properties, material testing)
