We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Entry-Level Manufacturing Engineer / Industrial Engineer to join our innovative manufacturing team. Duties

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, implement, and refine manufacturing processes using CAD software such as SolidWorks, Creo, and AutoCAD.
  • Assist in project scheduling, tracking milestones, and ensuring timely completion of engineering projects within manufacturing facilities.
  • Conduct root cause analysis on production issues, utilizing tools like Six Sigma methodologies to identify inefficiencies and implement corrective actions.
  • Support process improvement initiatives by applying lean manufacturing principles and industrial engineering techniques to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
  • Program and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs), robotics, vision inspection systems, CNC machines, and other industrial automation equipment.
  • Develop schematics, technical drawings, and system diagrams for equipment layout, tooling, and assembly lines while adhering to GD&T standards.
  • Participate in factory experience activities such as welding, tooling setup, assembly line operations, and equipment maintenance to gain comprehensive manufacturing insights.
  • Lead or assist in projects related to process engineering, quality improvement programs, and continuous improvement efforts aligned with Six Sigma or lean management practices.
  • Analyze engineering data to support manufacturing decisions and optimize process parameters for plastics injection molding, assembly lines, or other production processes.
  • Engage in team leadership roles by coordinating with engineers and operators to ensure smooth factory operations and safety compliance.

Qualifications

  • Recent graduation of the Class of 2026 with a degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of CAD software including SolidWorks, Creo, AutoCAD; experience with schematics and technical drawings is preferred.
  • Familiarity with industrial automation components such as PLCs, robotics programming, vision inspection systems, CNC machines, and industrial equipment.
  • Understanding of process improvement methodologies including Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles; certification or training is a plus.
  • Experience with project scheduling tools and techniques for managing multiple engineering projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to perform root cause analysis using structured problem-solving methods; excellent troubleshooting skills required.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as plastics injection molding, welding techniques, tooling design, assembly operations, and factory automation systems.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude combined with excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration across teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze engineering data effectively to support continuous improvement initiatives in a manufacturing setting.
