Summary

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Extrusion Operator to join our production team. In this role, you will operate extrusion equipment to support daily rubber manufacturing processes, ensuring consistent quality and efficiency.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and high-quality operation of extrusion machinery in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Knowledge and Skills:

To succeed in this role, candidates should demonstrate the following:* + Basic Troubleshooting – Ability to identify and resolve minor equipment or process issues to maintain production flow. + Effective Communication – Clear verbal and written communication with team leads, supervisors, and cross-functional departments. + Attention to Detail – Consistently follow instructions, monitor machine settings, and ensure products meet quality standards.

+ Record Keeping – Accurately complete daily production check sheets and quality documentation. + Teamwork – Collaborate with coworkers to solve problems and maintain a safe, efficient work environment. + Time Management – Stay on schedule and complete tasks within designated shift timelines.

+ Physical Stamina – Capable of standing for extended periods and safely lifting heavy materials as needed. + Chemical Handling – Safely work with and around chemicals used in the mixing process, following all procedures and PPE requirements. + Heat and Carbon Exposure Awareness – Understand and manage working conditions involving heat and carbon materials, ensuring safety and compliance with operational protocols.

Education and Experience: Required: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.Preferred:* + - 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment or related field. - Career Readiness Certificate – Silver level or higher.
