What You'll Do

As a Design Engineer, you'll play a key role in transforming customer concepts into precision molds built for performance and reliability.

Responsibilities include:

• Design and develop detailed 3D models of precision mold components using CREO and Cimatron
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Project Management teams to create innovative tooling solutions
• Design molds for thermoplastics, thermoset, die cast, and insert molding applications
• Ensure designs meet customer specifications, manufacturability requirements, and quality standards
• Analyze and resolve design challenges while improving product performance and manufacturing efficiency
• Review technical drawings, CAD models, and engineering documentation for accuracy
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering department
• Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Plastics Engineering, or related field
• Minimum of 2 years of mold design experience
• Proficiency with CREO and Cimatron
• Experience creating 3D models for precision mold manufacturing
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing molds for injection molding applications
• Knowledge of mold manufacturing processes and tooling
• Experience with engineering data analysis
• Continuous improvement or lean manufacturing experience
