Location: Chandler, AZ area

Status: Must be a US Citizen (No Green Cards or H1-B visas will be considered due to defense program requirements).

Salary Range: $95,000 – $115,000 / year (Depending on experience)

The Role

We are seeking an FEA Analysis Engineer to join our engineering team and support static and dynamic stress analysis for defense-related product development. In this role, you will utilize advanced FEA solvers to identify potential failure modes, evaluate structural integrity, and help recommend design solutions to reduce risk during testing and deployment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Structural & Dynamic Analysis: Perform high-level static and dynamic FEA on complex mechanical components and systems.
  • System Evaluation: Support analysis related to seating systems, structural components, and ground vehicle dynamics.
  • Collaboration & Reporting: Work closely with senior analysis staff to review workloads, document findings, and compile clear technical reports.
  • Design Validation: Utilize solvers like Abaqus, Optistruct, or LS-DYNA to validate designs against rigorous DoD standards.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education: BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a closely related field.
  • Experience: 2\+ years of professional experience specializing in static and dynamic stress analysis.
  • Technical Depth: Solid foundational understanding of FEA theory and experience working with or exposing yourself to DoD platforms (ground combat, marine, or aircraft).
  • Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship is strictly required.

Desired Skills

  • Experience modeling or analyzing composite materials.
  • Proficiency with 3D CAD modeling, specifically SolidWorks.
  • Strong communication skills and a desire to learn from senior mentorship.

Pay: $95,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
