  • Support process improvements to increase quality, efficiency, yield, and manufacturing capability
  • Lead technical investigations and root cause analysis for process issues and production challenges
  • Support process validation activities including IQ/OQ/PQ and process qualification
  • Work with tooling teams and suppliers on mould design, modifications, and process improvements
  • Apply engineering principles including DOE, FMEA, SPC, and process capability analysis
  • Collaborate with Quality Engineering to ensure compliance with medical device standards and documentation requirements
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies
  • Provide technical support on the manufacturing floor and work closely with production teams to resolve issues

Required Experience & Skills

  • Experience working as a Supplier Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, or Plastics Engineer.
  • Hands-on experience with plastic processing and injection moulding
  • Understanding of process validation and regulated manufacturing environments
  • Knowledge of tools such as PFMEA, SPC, DOE, root cause analysis, and CAPA
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, Production, and suppliers

Desirable Experience

  • Experience within the medical device, pharmaceutical, automotive, or other highly regulated manufacturing industries
  • Knowledge of ISO 13485, GMP, and cleanroom manufacturing environments
  • Experience supporting tooling development and supplier technical discussions
  • Lean Six Sigma qualification or continuous improvement experience

What We Offer

  • Opportunity to work on innovative medical device products
  • A technically challenging engineering environment with exposure to advanced manufacturing processes
  • Career development opportunities within a growing engineering organisation
  • Collaborative culture focused on quality, innovation, and continuous improvement
