Job Overview Polynt Composites USA is a global leader in the manufacturing of composites, coatings, and chemical intermediates, serving key industries such as industrial, transportation, construction, marine, medical, and consumer goods. We are looking for a chemist to work onsite in our Carpentersville, IL Coatings R&D Group.

Responsibilities • Create master data in SAP for new Coatings Products at select Manufacturing Sites following the global master data process in SAP.

Requirements • BS in chemistry with 0 to 2 years of synthesis in developing Alkyd, Saturated Polyester, Solvent borne Urethanes or Solution Acrylic for the coatings market • Good structure-property understanding • Innovative thinking and technical accomplishments and utilization of analytical tools, technical knowledge, data, and statistical tools to solve technical challenges and enhance chemistries and process development • Excellent oral and written communication skills to work in a team environment • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Word, as well as SAP preferred

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
