Salary: $95,000 - $110,000

Shift: Day Shift

Location: Cleveland, OH (relocation assistance)

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Powder Coatings Chemist to support formulation, development, and technical service activities. This is a hands-on role working closely with senior chemists and production teams.

Job Duties and Responsibilities Include

- Develop and modify powder coating formulations (epoxy, polyester, hybrids)

- Support scale-up from lab to production

- Conduct testing: cure, gloss, color, mechanical and chemical resistance

- Evaluate and qualify raw materials

- Troubleshoot processing and application issues

- Maintain formulation and test documentation

Education Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related field

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

- 2–7 years coatings experience in powder coatings

- Strong lab and troubleshooting skills

Preferred

- Experience with extrusion and powder processing

- Knowledge of electrostatic application

- Familiarity with pigments, resins, and additives
