FULL TIME RESEARCH ENGINEERNew York University Tandon School of EngineeringThe Poudineh Lab at NYU Tandon School of Engineering is seeking to hire a Full time Research Engineer to work in wearable sensors.

The Poudineh Lab focuses on developing new platforms for automating healthcare via continuous biomarker monitoring and delivering therapeutics.

ResponsibilitiesCandidates will be responsible for :

• Conducting biomedical research involving hydrogel polymer synthesis and microneedle fabrication for experimental studies.
• Assisting in grant preparation: This includes collaborating with PI to draft, review, and prepare grant proposals and supporting documentation.
• Managing laboratory inventory: Sourced and ordered essential materials, chemicals, and reagents while maintaining accurate tracking logs.
• Maintaining laboratory equipment: Performed routine inspections, calibration, and preventative maintenance on instruments

Salary rangeIn compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary for this position is $ 55,000/year – $70,000/year depending on the candidate’s experience and qualification.

Expected start date and period of employment Expected start date is : September 1, 2026. This position is expected to be for 12 months . Candidates should have at least a MS in biotechnology, nanotechnology or a related field and 3 years of experience.
