This is an excellent entry level opportunity for those interested in working at a technology-based pharmaceutical company. You will gain hands-on experience analyzing and interpreting data for excipients, polymers, active ingredients, and finished pharmaceuticals utilizing advanced analytical instrumentation. You will work as part of small multi-disciplinary technical team on sustained release drug development projects in various stages of development including early proof of concept, supporting pharmacokinetic and clinical studies, technical transfer activities, and supporting commercial product manufacturing.

Essential Job Functions Include

• Perform both routine analyses and method development using analytical instrumentation such as high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), gas chromatography (GC), particle size analysis with laser diffraction and optical imaging.
• Perform in vitro dissolution testing and method development.
• Present analyses and recommendations in product development team meetings.
• Collaborate with team members from multiple departments within the company and with external clients to achieve project and company goals.
• Work in an FDA-regulated environment and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
