Role details

We are seeking a full time Quality Specialist on 1st shift at our Rochester, NH Location.

Candidate does not need to be an expert, but we are looking for a good technical aptitude to adapt as needed. The goal is to cross train in all areas of quality.

This position will be involved in the entire course of the manufacturing process from receipt of goods to shipment of finished product. Specialists ensure manufactured products meet customer specifications as well as provide lab assistance to process engineers completing product and process development tasks. Other areas of focus include support for qualification of equipment, new product/process development, existing process maintenance and monitoring, continuous improvement and troubleshooting.

Essential/Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Following all safety requirements, safety policy and company policy, report any observed violation to the superior or hazardous situation to the Safety Committee
  • Fostering and encouraging safe practices on the shop floor
  • Finished product testing and inspection
  • New and existing product validations
  • Assisting with the implementation of the Quality Management System
  • Incoming testing of raw materials
  • Communication with suppliers
  • Regulatory compliance research
  • Inventory transactions
  • Process auditing
  • Other duties assigned by management

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: • Metrology and GD&T expertise • CMM expertise • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. • Ability to perform required functions with a minimum of direct supervision. • Ability to read, write, keep neat and accurate records, and follow written and verbal instructions.

• Ability to work with the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). • Acute attention to detail • Strong communication skills and work well with others. • Must be willing to work shift work, overtime, and weekends as required.

Education and Experience Requirements: • Two to three years minimum experience in a Quality-focused technical role.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour
