Role details
We are seeking an Engineer II, Molding to join our manufacturing team in Dublin, OH. This hands-on engineering role is responsible for developing, optimizing, and validating injection molding processes to improve product quality, manufacturing efficiency, and overall equipment performance. The position partners closely with production, tooling, quality, maintenance, and engineering teams to troubleshoot technical issues, implement process improvements, and support new product and tooling qualifications.
The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of injection molding experience and a solid understanding of scientific molding principles, process development, and validation activities (IQ/OQ/PQ). This individual will lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing scrap, increasing OEE, and driving cost savings while utilizing tools such as DOE, FMEA, and statistical analysis. Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment, particularly medical devices, is highly desirable.
