Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Survivability Materials and Process Engineer for a top aerospace and defense client supporting advanced composite aircraft manufacturing. This engineer will drive the development and implementation of low observable (LO) materials and processes that reduce radar, IR, and visual signatures, while ensuring solutions are manufacturable and sustainable in production. The role partners closely with composites manufacturing, quality, design engineering, and vendors to create material/process specifications, lead coupon testing and material characterization, troubleshoot manufacturing issues through failure investigations and root cause analysis, and provide guidance for repair and rework of LO-critical features.
