💲 $60,000 - $100,000 per year

Mauston Tool is expanding its capabilities and ability to serve a larger market in the plastic injection mold building industry. We’re looking for an experienced Engineer to join our dedicated and progressive team.

Responsibilities

The Engineer is responsible for managing tooling projects for new products from conception through production start. This position is also responsible for all repairs and changes to existing tooling, while staying up to date on new tooling technologies and recommending improvements to tooling capability, efficiency, and cost.

Qualifications – Education and Experience: • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Plastics preferred, or equivalent experience • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a directly related field

Qualifications – Skills and Competencies: • Strong character and sound judgment when addressing challenges and problem-solving • Demonstrate and promote a culture of continuous improvement • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Strong teamwork and organizational skills • Understanding of injection mold design • Understanding of manufacturing, machining, and toolmaking processes • Knowledge of injection molds • Proficiency in SolidWorks and Microsoft Office products
