Our team in Monette, AR is advancing how high-volume plastic parts are designed, tooled, and produced. We’re looking for a senior engineer who transforms great designs into scalable, stable injection molding processes—improving quality, accelerating throughput, and reducing total cost.
Role snapshot
- Own end-to-end process development for injection molding from concept through ramp.
- Champion manufacturability and quality by partnering across design, operations, and quality.
- Lead initiatives that modernize equipment and introduce new technologies.
Impact areas
- Design, develop, and optimize molding parameters to maximize efficiency and minimize waste.
- Diagnose issues using structured problem-solving and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to confirm parts are manufacturable and compliant to standards.
- Run projects to upgrade tooling, presses, auxiliaries, and automation.
- Mentor junior engineers and production staff on technical best practices.
- Track production metrics and deploy improvement strategies to elevate productivity and quality.
- Continuously scan industry trends in materials, tooling, and molding technology.
Minimum qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
- 5\+ years of manufacturing engineering experience focused on injection molding.
- Deep understanding of molding processes, materials, tooling, and equipment.
- Proficiency with CAD and engineering toolsets.
- Proven analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Team-oriented approach with strong interpersonal effectiveness.
Preferred methodologies
- Lean Manufacturing exposure
- Six Sigma experience or certification (plus)
