Role details
Role: Junior Plastics Engineer responsible for advancing plastics assembly process development and transferring processes to high-volume manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers on molding, tooling, and materials selection.
- Develop and optimize manufacturing stations to ensure robustness and efficiency.
- Focus on material selection, prototype development, and coordination with medical-grade materials.
- Support design for manufacturing and verification activities to ensure quality and compliance.
Qualifications & Skills • Knowledge of plastics processing, molding, and tooling. • Experience working with medical-grade materials. • Strong collaboration skills with internal teams and external vendors. • Ability to develop prototypes and support manufacturing transfer processes.
